Cannons in the Rain was released without the gatefold sleeve giving lyrics and dedications on all songs plus a colour photograph of John Stewart. Wingless Angels was released without the inner sleeve on which were printed all the lyrics. I hope he will be better served by his next record company.

The tracks asterisked (*) are alternate versions to those available on LP's.
Survivors (RCA PB 10227) is an edited version of the track on "Wingless Angels".
Capito12605 and 2711 are tracks from an aborted album produced by Chip Douglas.
Chilly Winds on RCA74 0970 is allegedly co-produced by Fred Carter Jr. and David M.Kershenbaum. However, I don't think the latter had anything to do with it. The actual track is fron "Cannons in the Rain" with the addition of pedal steel. The English release on RCA 2414 is the identical "Cannons" track.
Wheatfield Lady on RCA APB0 0109 is produced by David M.Kershenbaum. He is also credited with co-writing the song, but this was denied by John when I spoke to him, and he is certainly not credited with having done so on "The Phoenix Concerts - Live" album.
Though credited as being from "The Phoenix Concerts", Runaway Fool of Love on both the American and English RCA singles is a studio version of the song.
John Stewart Mouthful on Warner Brothers PR0 504 was a disc sent out with a very good promotional pack for "The Lonesome Picker Rides Again". Public thanks to Bob Westfall for supp1ying me with my copy.
Bob has two other promotional 45's in his collection. Capitol SPR0 6024 Marshall Wind (5.43) / Marshall Wind (3.56) and RCA JB 10268 Survivors (Edited) / Survivors (Unedited)
