New Orleans (Riding Home)

Written by John Stewart

New Orleans (Riding Home) is on The Piano Album, a collection of demos recorded in November 1976 that was published by Neon Dreams in 2008, thanks to the efforts of Tom DeLisle, Paul Rybolt and Jeff McDonald.

The song morphed into Going Home (Homeward Looking Bird), on the Secret Tapes ’86 cassette.

Not hard to play, I think it sounds best strummed.
