Summersend : Pat Harper and myself were shooting for the management company of 
other bands also on the bill (Goose Creek Symphony and Steve Forman's band. 
Summersend was promoted over the Labor Day weekend in early September of 1970 
(thus the name).  We shot both Friday nite and Saturday shows.  As I remember there 
was bad weather Saturday nite and blew the show out.  I wasn't there; I opted to spend 
some quality time with my girlfriend.  Pat sent some of his photos of John to Stewart's 
record company and one ended up as the inside photo on "Cannons in the Rain" album.
